This is a character of mine, Gertie Gooza. Just an animation test and some drawings where she was conceived.

Lou and I watched us some Beany and Cecil on Valentine's Day. I actually prefer the puppet show, Time For Beany, on which the cartoon show was based. There's just so much energy and attentiveness that goes into a live puppet show. And I love the way the puppets looked, and how the actors play their parts. Makes me think of Mr. Rogers. That was probably my favorite show when I was a wee little thing and PBS was all that I watched. There was nothing like a visit to the Neighborhood of Make Believe. NOTHING.

My First Encounter with Lou: Part 1

I made these comics for Lou for our 2-year anniversary...We met while working at Hideho Comics in Santa Monica. Yeah, I was kind of hesitant to go out with him at first ;)

An incredibly beautiful film, and one of the most unique movie-going experiences I've ever had. You're really missing out if you don't see this, and I believe it's only in theaters for three weeks due to the coming of the "Jonas Brothers" 3D movie, which will take over the 3D theaters equipped to screen Coraline. Oy vey.

Annette Funicello Portrait

I digitally painted the drawing of Annette I had posted before...It was fun.

What can I say? She's just so loveable...

Update: If you stay up late, tune in to KXLU tonight at midnight (12 a.m.) to listen to The Myonics (the band I'm in) play a live music show! That's 88.9 on the radio, and here's their website where you can also tune in:
I'm excited!
